If you’ve ever felt silly starting a new exercise routine, struggled to stick with a routine, wrestled with thoughts of being less than “enough” or simply struggled to find time for self-love… you are at the right place! P31:17 was prayerfully designed with busy, God-fearing ladies in mind.

As a busy wife, mom-of-4 and family physician I found myself stressed out, cranky and out of shape. I have tried and failed many times over starting a “routine” because I felt like I was too far gone, unable to commit the time needed or just plain silly feeling. I prayed for a healthy view of nutrition and fitness and a way to grow in Christ at the same time. Then one morning, God graciously pointed out Proverbs 31:17.

“She is energetic and strong - a hard worker.”

Those words sank deep into my soul and planted the seed of P31:17. Rather than focusing on more reps, less inches or any other typical markers of “progress” that I have depended upon previously, I stepped into focusing on this truth and celebrating what I can do right now and who He says I am. Now, I am inviting you to do the same.

We will focus each week on a scripture that speaks life into the places Satan so often screams his lies - our self-talk. Join me for 31 minutes as we breathe in His life-giving words while practicing the energy, strength and hard work he says we posses through 17 moves that can be adjusted for nearly any fitness level.
